So one thing I'm not a big fan of is the 'Kidz Bop' CDs. I don't understand why you have to take a song that has been recorded by someone, and then make a bunch of kids sing it. Can you just not take the original version of it? But then I think again, half of the songs they let these kids listen to are what I would see as not totally age appropriate for the targeted market. Do children really need to be listening to My Boo by Usher and Alicia, Lose My Breath by Destiny's Child, Welcome to My Life by Simple Plan, and She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. Do they even really get the concepts being sung in the lyrics or is it because little kids are singing it that makes it ok? Maybe they change the lyrics and I don't know it. If you're gonna let the kids listen to this stuff...let them listen to the correct version of it. Agh money hungry creators make me angry. >.<
Also, one song that really makes me mad is the 1985 by Bowling For Soup, because I know for a fact that NOT ONE of these kids who is singing this song, was even ALIVE in 1985. They can't even begin to appreciate the tongue-in-cheekness of that song. Jerks.
Ok, I'm done...for now. <3
